Snug Beach

A lot of portraits were taken at Snug Beach. The date was not recorded but we have the names of most people in the shots.

Dave and Bill appear on the first snapshot, Dave is the taller man on the left. Dave's wife name was Josephine or 'Joer'. The same couple appears on this photograph labelled "Mom and Dad".

Bill and Mary appear together on this snapshot. The group portrait provides the names of Patsy (the girl on the left wearing a head scarf), Dulsy (holding a child), Murial (in a black coat, sitting between Dulsy and Mary) and "young Bill" (on the right). Murial is "young" Bill's wife, they appear together on the shot taken at Port Huon.

Patsy must be Dave's and Josefine's daughter. She is sitting on the porch of the house at 3 Forest Street, West Hobart on this photo with Mary and Josephine standing behind. Patsy could have left the notes on the photographs. She would be in her nineties now.
